Rooted
Previously known as Breaking the Cycle, Rooted is a faith-centered space for young Black women ages 18–25 who are learning how to stand firm in who they are by first understanding whose they are. This season of life comes with questions, transitions, and becoming. Rooted exists to help you slow down, get grounded in Christ, and build a foundation that isn’t shaken by comparison, confusion, or old patterns. Because when you know whose you are, you’ll know who you are.
Program Overview
In early adulthood, confusion about identity often disguises itself as self-doubt, comparison, people-pleasing, or feeling lost. Rooted creates a safe, intentional space for young Black women to pause, get grounded, and establish their identity in Christ.
Rooted provides a structured environment to unlearn false narratives and build a foundation anchored in truth—so your growth is no longer driven by pressure, performance, or survival, but by purpose and alignment.
Each session integrates:
Identity-centered, faith-rooted teaching
Emotional awareness and discernment practices
Scriptural wisdom applied to everyday life
Guided reflection exercises
Community dialogue for support and grounding
Women leave Rooted with clarity about who they are, confidence in whose they belong to, and a steady foundation for navigating adulthood with wisdom, peace, and intention.
