Hygiene Kit Assembly
This month, Black Girls Can Heal, Inc. invites volunteers to join us for our Hygiene Kit Assembly as we come together to support women and girls in need through intentional care and community service. During this gathering, volunteers will help assemble hygiene kits filled with essential items that will be distributed through our outreach efforts and community initiatives.
More than packing supplies, this event is an opportunity to serve with compassion, connect with others, and be part of meaningful work that directly impacts women and girls experiencing hardship, transition, or limited access to basic necessities. Whether you are attending alone or bringing friends, every helping hand contributes to creating care packages that remind someone they are seen, valued, and worthy of support.
This event takes place on June 12 from 6 PM–8 PM EST. Light refreshments will be served.

Crowned in Christ Bible Study
Crowned in Christ: Studying Matthew Together
Join us this May inside Crowned in Christ as we begin studying the book of Matthew together. This is a space for women who desire to grow deeper in their faith, engage Scripture with intention, and walk alongside other women pursuing Christ.
Our virtual Bible study meetings will take place bi-weekly on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM EST. Together, we will walk through Matthew chapter by chapter while learning how to study and understand Scripture in context.
All study materials, resources, and updates will be provided through the Crowned in Christ community on Skool, so once you join, you’ll have everything you need to follow along.

Before the Couch is a panel discussion designed to create space for honest conversation around therapy, healing, and what it means to begin the journey toward emotional wellness.
This event is hosted by Black Girls Can Heal in collaboration with Flamingo Trauma Recovery, bringing together perspectives that center both clinical insight and community care.

Introducing Before the Couch
A Conversation to Begin the Journey
On March 13th, we hosted an Instagram Live in partnership with Flamingo Trauma Recovery, featuring founder Conscious Coore, as an introduction to their program, Before the Couch.
This conversation was designed to help you begin thinking about therapy differently—before ever stepping into a session. Together, we explored what it means to approach healing with clarity, understand the barriers that often keep women from seeking support, and begin restoring a sense of personal power in the process.
Before the Couch is a program created by Flamingo Trauma Recovery, and this live conversation offers a glimpse into the heart and intention behind the work.
